This feeling :)

I want to write a post as to how I am feeling this EXACT moment. I usually wait a couple of days to post something, and by that time, something else has happened to change my mood. I want to remember how happy I feel at this exact second, so if I am feeling sad later, I can come back to this.

Trevor came over tonight. I made him homemade dinner and dessert! Dinner included caesar salad, garlic bread, chicken parmesan, and wine! Then dessert was strawberry shortcake! mmmm :) It was nothing short of amazing! Also, can I just say that I am proud of myself for making a full course meal!? For anyone that knows me, knows that was a great feat.

After dinner, we watched Shutter Island. Love that movie. We just laid on the couch and cuddled. I have been feeling kinda down for a while now, and it felt so good to feel safe and special. It made me smile when he told me how nice it was to lay with me. After the movie, we watched a show about some gun contest. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! It was so nice to just lay there and hang out with him. I forgot how much I missed that.

I know that lots of crazy things have happened between me and him. I just want to remember how I am feeling at this moment so I can look back later, after he has been a jerk and made me mad. I want to remember how he makes me smile, makes me feel beautiful, makes me feel special, and leaves me with butterflies in my stomach. I am laying here on my couch and can still smell the sweet flavor of his cologne on my pajamas and blanket. It reminds me of the movie Flipped, when she says, "I spent the summer sniffing watermelon, it was amazing." I hope that this feeling stays at least for a little while. I love going to bed smiling and happy :)
