Enjoying Life

I was in a major slump for a long time. I seemed to be living the same life everyday with nothing new happening. I was not taking any chances, not going out and meeting new people, living on the safe side. I was essentially an old woman, wasting away my youth.

The past month I have taken a new turn on life. I have been going out, doing things that I normally wouldn't do, and just going with the flow. I was such a tight wad for so long and honestly, un-fun. I changed my mindset. Things that I normally would have passed on, I have said yes to. It really has paid off. I have met some new, amazing people. I have been having so much more fun than I have in such a long time. It feels good to be spontaneous and going with the flow.

I only live once. I want to look back and know that I actually lived. I am young and have the opportunity to go out and do things that make me happy. I have nothing holding me back right now and I want to take advantage of it while I can.

I hope that I can remember how great I feel living this way and continue to do it. It is fun not knowing what will happen next, seizing little moments, and finding new things that make me happy :)
